CERTAINTY

Some things are certain, some say death and taxes,
Some things are not, and honestly the fact is.
We humans are wise to sort, the myth and truth,
The actual things really so, and those just a spoof.
The Big Bang is a noise, like fireworks and boys,
Set alight to gain attention, as I said... a noise.
But the Universe is ordered, all obeying law,
Where did that come from? What are they for?
Life is something we all have, and did it just evolute?
The odds against it, well they really do not compute.
You can Hawkins, and Dawkin it, and add Darwin,
But one cell, one hair, one leaf. one eye, one skin,
One wing, one brain, one oak, one whale, or bird,
Prove beyond all doubt, that 'no designer' is absurd.
Those who believe this fairy tale of modern minds,
May claim to have 'proved it' with endless finds;
But honesty in science screams out 'intelligent design,'
Just as these words are not some chance scribbled line.

As all compass needles point to the magnetic place,
So all the Universe points up to the Creator's face.
They may trash the book that explains how it really is,
And they may seek the glory that is really his.
But as we spread the Truth of Creation and hope,
Unlike those who with unproven theories grope,
We know that very soon they will have to know,
That Genesis one verse one is actually really so.
Certainty is not scrawled in 'learned' human books,
Any more than graffiti on new walls improves looks.
Certainty is based on evidence the maker gave,
So, No!...We will not become their branded slave.
Our minds have the ability to make a wiser choice,
And then to act by praising Jehovah with our voice.
